Just an Observation

I really don’t understand why it still bothers whites that we have institutions or months, or anything for that matter, to celebrate our own heritage.  You don’t complain about Caribbean festivals or Asian art museums, so why is there a need to complain about a Black history museum or ONE month?

  1. theseven7seas answered: Personally, I feel like the only thing people talk about during black history month is slavery. Doesn’t sound like a celebration at all.
  2. many-bothans-died answered: Because everything “white” is vilified. Yall are applauded for saying “black pride” or “black power” & if we say white pride, we’re “racist”
